Private Guide

Growing up in South Africa, I spent many of my school holidays going to the Kruger and various game reserves through Southern Africa with my family. My most vivd memory of these trips was seeing my first leopard at the age of 6. From that moment onwards I became a little obsessed with big cats and after graduating from university and spending some time in a suit and tie I decided that I was much better suited to a life in shorts amongst the big cats and in the wild.

Almost 16 years later I find myself still utterly obsessed with the wild and all her inhabitants. I now want to align this passion for nature with my hope for a better planet and creating more wild spaces. My hope is to help others to fall inlove as I have, and to try put land that has been stolen by humans back in the possession of Mother Earth. I hope to leave this planet on a better trajectory than it is currently on by helping others find connection to wild places and to the creatures that call this their home.

I decided to leave lodge based guiding in 2019 in pursuit of travelling the world to see as many different wild spaces as possible. I now lead tours through India, Brazil, Chile, Alaska and Africa.

"It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living." - David Attenborough
