Day 1: Arrival - Johannesburg, South Africa

Starting in the bustling city of Johannesburg, fly straight into Big5 country, landing at a remote bush strip in the Timbavati, for Tanda Tula Safari Lodge. The Timbavati Private Game Reserve covers 75,000 hectares of unfenced pristine wilderness. Bordered by the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Private Reserve, the area is known for its natural splendor, wide swathe of bush and high density of wildlife - including the Big Five, Wild Dogs, Cheetah and over 350 bird species.

Days 2-4: Tanda Tula Safari Lodge, Timbavati

Delve into the world of wildlife on twice daily game drives, bush walks and extend your morning adventures with a bush breakfast daily. It is all about re-connect with yourself and nature, absorbing the sights, sounds and smells of the bush. In between game drives, spend time at the lodge's hide overlooking a waterhole to see who comes for a drink.

Days 5-8: Ngala Safari Lodge, Greater Kruger National Park

The magic and mystery of Africa comes alive in the welcoming ambiance of the elegant Ngala Safari Lodge. This timeless and charming safari lodge is ideally positioned in Ngala Private Game Reserve, a private concession inside the highly acclaimed Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, and one of the biggest game reserves in the world. Ngala is renowned for its sighting of White Lions, as well as Wild Dogs. Explore this beautiful concession along the Timbavati River on twice daily game drives and bush walks.

Option: Experience the very essence the wilderness by overnighting in the luxurious Ngala Treehouse, a remote overnight retreat that allows you to sleep on an elevated and safe platform, under a blanket of stars (extra cost).

Days 9 - 11: Tintswalo at Boulders Beach, Cape Town

After 10 nights in the wilds, explore South Africa's award winning city of Cape Town.
