I cannot explain why, but my heart always longed for the wilds of Africa. I grew up in Stockholm and I spent most of my childhood exploring nature. After completing my studies in Sweden, I decided to treat myself to a year of volunteering with animals in Africa, at least I thought it was going to be a year…

I began my adventure by signing up for a conservation project in South Africa, and from the moment I arrived, I knew I had found my true home. The allure of the African bush was undeniable, and I felt a sense of belonging like never before.

My journey in South Africa led me to become a guide and I started my career in the industry in Kruger National Park. Over time, I worked my way up to the role of general manager and moved from South Africa to East Africa. During my time in Tanzania I ran lodges in remote wilderness areas and had the privilege of hosting guests from all corners of the world. I also worked closely with local communities and contributed toward the establishment of a large scale conservation project that still stands today.

My 12 years in Africa so far, has been incredibly enriching, full of stories and experiences that only Africa can give you. Let me share them with you as we plan an adventure to the most wild and wonderful places on Earth.
