Elephants Alive

South Africa

For almost two decades, Elephants Alive researcher Dr Michelle Henley, has been monitoring the ecology and demography of one of South Africa’s largest elephant populations. They work in close collaboration with Save The Elephants on tracking, mortality and the Great Tusker campaign and are continually expanding their elephant identification study. In addition, they run a large tree migration program as well as a bees, trees and elephants coexistance program.
