An intimate, luxurious journey that takes you to some of our favourite places, each uniquely selected to showcase Southern Africa's most iconic features and landmarks. Safari in the region's top game viewing areas, including the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve (best known for sightings of the Big5, especially leopard) and the Okavango delta, beautifully combining land and water safari experiences. Tick off a bucket-list item with a tour of the smoke that thunders - the mighty Victoria Falls - and another as you explore the flat topped Table Mountain. Oh, and while you are here, why not spend the day sipping wine in the Cape's famous wine region.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival - Johannesburg, South Africa

Your Southern Africa adventure begins in the famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. A bush flight straight into the heart of Big5 country means you will arrive at Londolozi in time for lunch, and your first afternoon game drive! 

Days 2 & 3: Londolozi Founders Camp, Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Situated on the Sand River, Londolozi is a hotspot for wildlife including breeding herds of elephant and boasts lion concentrations among the highest recorded on the African continent. Yet it’s the leopards of Londolozi that make them world famous for wildlife and Londolozi's leopard study has resulted in a depth and knowledge of this species that is unsurpassed in Africa.

Days 4 - 6: Ellerman House, Cape Town

After a few nights in the wilds, explore South Africa's award winning city of Cape Town. Using Ellerman house as your base, spend your days sightseeing in the city and nights in Cape Town's finest restaurants. The penguins of Boulders Bay are not to be missed and if you are feeling energetic, hike up table mountain! Head into the winelands for a full day of wine tasting and to learn more about South Africa's world class wine region.

*City sightseeing and activities are not included in costs however we can make recommendations and assist with organising these, to match your interests.

Days 7 - 10: Duba Plains, Okavango Delta, Botswana

From stunning South Africa, fly north into Botswana and journey to the centre of the famous Okavango Delta. Duba Plains prides itself on its extraordinary wildlife experiences and intimate exposure to the best wildlife, from lions and leopards to elephants, lechwe, buffalo and everything in between. Explore on game drives in Duba's "Swamp Vehicles" - specially adapted to navigate the delta's wetlands - as well as bush walks and boating safaris.

Days 11 & 12: Victoria Falls River Lodge (Treehouse suites), Zimbabwe

Continue your exciting waterways adventure as you travel onwards to Victoria Falls. Explore the Zambezi National Park, the mighty Zambezi River and famous Victoria Falls - the smoke that thunders. From your secluded Island Treehouse Suite, watch elephants grazing in the shallow water around your room, or head on game drives, morning and evening sunset cruises, and a guided tour of Victoria Falls.

Day 13: Departure, Victoria Falls

A final sunsrise over the Zambezi marks the end of your Southern African safari adventure. You will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport where you can connect with onward international flights home.
