The Lower Zambezi; tiger fish, elephants, hippos and leopards in winter thorn tree forests. South Luangwa; the densest population of hippos anywhere in Africa and some of best leopard viewing the continent has to offer. Great herds roam further west in Liuwa plains where not far from that the floodplains of Busanga in Kafue are a melting pot for bird and animal life. The largest mammal migration on earth takes place annually in Kasanka, where 12 million bats congregate in a small patch of forest. Wild experiences on foot, from a boat or by vehicle are what Zambia is known for.
